Soon time to go south

Time flies and soon it’s time for the 2025 Grand Tour. We’ve adjusted the route slightly and will skip France and Switzerland. Instead taking the ferry from Gothenburg to Kiel and drive south through Germany. on the way back, we might drive through Denmark. Subject to timing of ferries.

Meanwhile, we’ve added some colour and stickers to the car to go with the theme of ’Mille Miglia’.

As usual, we will start daily updates once the tour begin. Which is September 13.

    Hi Stefan,

I’m so envious of your trip! I am also amazed at your diligence in writing your extensive blog, I set up a “Travel Map” for our trip to Spain in May, but never found the time to update it – too busy enjoying myself in the MX5! From our experience in 2023 and a previous trip to Le Marche the Eastern side of Italy is amazing with quiet roads and hardly any tourists. In Tuscany and Umbria watch out for the speed cameras in every village! Have a great trip – I look forward to your posts! Peter Moloney

Thank you Peter. We started writing the blog back in 2019 to document and share the experience with fellow petrolheads. We’ve driven to Italy twice. But this will be the first time we drive south to Rome.
